The CD includes DEVILGROTH songs previously released on splits with DESOLATED SOULS (2016), NECRO FOREST (2017) and FROSTVEIL (2017) as well as a bonus track – “Eksistensens Jeger” (ILDJARN cover). "The Songs of Polar Night" was released to praise the majestic beauty of the North in its bleak colors. The songs do not have a whole lot of words – they are alien to the white lifeless landscape. Only guitar riffs chaotically circle in the background of this icy vastness, perfectly blending into the atmosphere of cold wind and frost... Cold Raw Black Metal!
